- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (melted and cooled slightly) or vegan alternative

- 2 large eggs or flax eggs for vegan
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
- 1 (12 oz) package orange candy melts
- 9 large vegan marshmallows
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch square pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture along with chocolate chunks until just combined. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 30 minutes; let cool completely before slicing into nine squares.
- Melt orange candy melts and dip each vegan marshmallow, placing them on top of brownies.
- Press chocolate chips onto each marshmallow as stems; let set.
- Decorate faces using melted chocolate from a piping bag.
