  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 (12 oz) package orange candy melts
  • 9 large vegan marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch square pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture along with chocolate chunks until just combined. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes; let cool completely before slicing into nine squares.
  6. Melt orange candy melts and dip each vegan marshmallow, placing them on top of brownies.
  7. Press chocolate chips onto each marshmallow as stems; let set.
  8. Decorate faces using melted chocolate from a piping bag.
