  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring beef broth, butter, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
  2. Season steak strips with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm heavy cream. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Gradually mix in cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses until smooth. Add garlic powder and cayenne pepper if desired.
