- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 6 slices nitrate-free turkey
- 3/4 cup raw walnuts
- 3 medjool dates or 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 2.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 6 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook turkey in a skillet until crispy; set aside.
- Toss cubed sweet potatoes with turkey fat (or preferred fat), salt, pepper, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Spread on the baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Add walnuts to the baking sheet during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
- For the dressing, blend dates (or honey), lime juice, garlic, salt, and olive oil until smooth.
